Leyland MethodistJunior School

3W

Welcome to Year 3!

Happy new year everyone, we hope you have had a fantastic Christmas break and are now ready to continue with your learning. smiley

The children have really embraced learning in the last half term and shown that they really know what it takes to succeed in year 3. Look out for our curriculum newsletter outlining the learning that will take place in the next half term in our Rock and roll topic. Below are a reminder of some of the key information needed.

Homework will be distributed on a Tuesday and expected in the following Monday.

Our PE days this half term will again be indoor on a Thursday and outdoor on a Friday, therefore please remember your outdoor kit of trousers, trainers and a jumper on Fridays. We enjoyed the excellent coaching from Sports Partnership within the last term and will continue our outdoor learning with Class teachers now.

We will be updating the class page throughout the half term with pictures of us learning across the curriculum.

My door is always open for a chat so feel free to come and ask any questions, or you can contact me via email on j.willis@lmjs.lancs.sch.uk

Keep your eyes peeled on here for any other information.
