Welcome to Year 4!

A very warm welcome to our new and improved class webpage!

Here in Year 4, we are about to embark on a very exciting, action packed summer term. We will be starting a new topic based on water (think everything from raging rivers to condensation!) and will be gearing up for all the fun and games that the summer term brings...trips, sports days, Dance from the Heart, pop up galleries, summer fairs...you name it, we'll be doing it!

For all information about work we will be covering, please refer to our new and improved newsletter or pop in any time if you have any questions.

Homework will remain as normal for this term - it will be going out on Tuesday to be in on the following Monday. Please feel free to keep encouraging your children to bring their Guided Reading books home with them, helping them to complete each of their weekly tasks on time.

Also remember, all children have the opportunity to use our fantastic school library and should be bringing a library book home with them to aid their wider reading. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share this book with your child and encourage them to change it regularly to keep their reading fresh and exciting.

PE this term - Please be advised that PE this term will be on Monday and Friday. We will be on the field on Monday afternoons developing our skills in Athletics and so outdoor kit, including trainers will be required in school every week. Friday sessions will be indoors so normal indoor kit will be required.

We are aiming to keep you up to date with all the work we are doing in class via this web page so please keep checking to find out what we have been up to!

Pop in for a chat at any time, if you are unable to do so, please feel free to contact us at
