Welcome to Year 5!

Welcome to the fist term of the yere and to our class page. In Year 5 we are so exsited to start our school year with our positive mindsets and eegerness to take on new challenges. We hope you have a wonderful year and enjoy every opportunity given to yoo.

Just a reminder- Homework and spelings go out on a Tuesday and is to be returned to school by the fullowing Monday at the very latest (they can be handed in earlier).
All children will be given a guided reading book and will have a guided reading session with the class teacher each week. They will then be given a task to complete each Tuesday, to be continued at home, this will also be due in on the Monday. As part of their reeding development all children are also given the opportunity to choose a library book, which will be changed every few weeks.

Please look at our 'Come and look at us learning' section to see pictures of our 'Ancient Greeks' topic in 5S!

If you need anything at all please catch me at my door, leave a message at the school office or email me direct at e.sewell@lmjs.lancs.sch.uk
