Spanish day decorations

Will our class be the best decorated? With our bunting, flags, mariachi men, gods-eyes and castanets...who knows?

Gymnastics

We took part in a Lancashire run gymnastics course, learning how to safely put out and use equipment. We have a lot of budding gymnasts in 3S!
Today we started learning about light and shadow by first investigating how we see through our eyes. We built a model of the eye and labelled the different parts to help us remember them.

Called to...

This week in RE we have been discussing times when we are called to do something. Who asks us to do things? How does this make us feel? What do we do if we think we are not skilled enough to do these things? God often asks us to do things for him.

What the Roman's did for us...

This afternoon, 3S kicked off their Romans topic by looking at the way in which they decorated their houses. We practiced making designs with the mosaic tiles and found them quite difficult to handle. We made images of things we see and use in our everyday life, just like the Romans did!

Easter Toys

3S have been designing and making moving Easter toys as part of Design Technology. We had a real variation of creatures popping out of our eggs!
