Welcome to Year 3!

I hope you had a refreshing summer break ready for the busy year ahead. During the Autumn term we will be going back in time to The Stone Age, writing our own Fairy Tales as well researching Skara Brae to write a non-chronological report and we will also get to visit the Octagon theatre to watch Treasure Island.

This Half Term P.E will be on a Wednesday and a Friday (an outdoor P.E kit will be needed for Friday).

Look out for any key dates on the Xpressions app. The first one for your diary is 'Meet the teacher' which will be held by the Year 3 team at 6pm on Wednesday 18th September.

Be aware- Homework will be going out on a Tuesday to be on the following Monday. All children will be given a Guided Reading book and will have a Guided Reading session with the Class Teacher each week. They will then be given a task to complete each Tuesday, to be continued at home, this will also be due in on the Monday.

We love using the internet as a way to communicate and showcase our fantastic work. So please keep checking this webpage for updates on our class!
