Welcome to Year 4!

Autumn 2 - Year 4!

Autumn 2 is upon us and what an exciting half term we have in year 4. The children have settled well and now have the important job of the Christmas Production. They will also have a fantastic experience at the Octagon in Bolton were they will watch an amazing play on Treasure Island. Within topic, year 4 are studying the effects of Rubbish and Recycling and how we can decrease litter on our streets. During science, we are learning about our Teeth and Digestion.

Check the class page for pictures of our learning.

Just a reminder, homework will be sent home on a Tuesday and it is expected the following Monday. Homework includes the continuation of the guided reading task, Maths follow up from what has been taught during the previous week and a grammar sheet.

So please keep an eye on newsletters and the Xpressions app to keep up to date.

To find out what is going on in class, take a look at our Class Newsletter – it will fill you in on all the exciting topics we will be covering this half term.

If you would like to speak to me at any point about things going on around school, our doors are always open or you can pop your queries into an email to a.baybutt@lmjs.lancs.sch.uk.
