Welcome to Summer 1 in Year 3!

Can you believe we are already heading into the final term of Year 3!

We have lots of exciting learning to get stuck into in the term ahead! 

.

In English we are going to be writing informative instructions about 'How To Pot A Mandrake,' followed by an exciting  story based on Folk Tales, and then more amazing poetry! In Maths we will be practicing and developing our knowledge of statistics and length and perimeter. Other exciting areas we will be exploring and investigating are 'Animal Including Humans' in Science and 'Glorious Greeks' in History. We also have our wonderful Sport Coach in to teach Dance based on the theme of 'Around the World'!

Important information:

PE is on Wednesdays and Thursdays (Please can children wear their full PE kit to school - Thursdays will be outdoor);

Homework will be released on Showbie on a Tuesday (to be completed by the following Monday);

Spelling tests will be the following Monday. 

Monday afternoons Aspen will be taught Spanish and Religious Education during PPA.
