Week 2

Autumn 1

It has been another busy week for our little learners as we have had lots of "firsts". We had our first Celebration Worship, our first full week of school, our first class photographs, and our first introduction to coloured strips within continuous provision. The weather was typically British this week (one minute it was wet and windy, the next it was glorious sunshine) so we really enjoyed seeing our little people explore their outdoor classroom in all sorts of weather conditions as they really got stuck in and made the most of it.

Week 1

Autumn 1 

What an exciting week it has been for our little learners as they start their first week of "big school". This week we have begun our All About Me unit as we got to know each other better, and discussed how we are different to others. As part of our No Outsiders work, we read You Choose and spoke about how everybody likes/dislikes different things - but that's ok!

Of course, with it being our first week in school our main focus has been embedding routines and transitioning our little learners into school life. We have to admit we are extremely impressed with how well they have settled in, and look forward to exploring our learning with them throughout the remainder of the school year.
