Here we are, celebrating Harvest 2020 in class.
We watched a video about Nawalat who dreamed of being a nurse but had to spend 4 hours a day walking to and from school. With the help of a bicycle, it only took two hours, which meant more study time.
We reflected on what our dreams would be for the future and drew our road and thought about all the things that might get in our way. We prayed to God to make our ordinary talents extra ordinary and read an Irish blessing.
We attached our drawings to a bike to signify how important ordinary things can be to people who need them to make a 3D prayer display.
Within God’s love for everyone, Our school family is committed to serve by:
- celebrating everyone’s unique God-given talents;
- giving the best of ourselves for all the world;
- doing all the good we can together.
