History

Well, it’s the final week of Home Learning (I hope I didn’t just hear cheering!). After this very busy time, your teachers are incredibly tired and not sure that they have any teaching left in them. So YOU are going to take over the teaching duties this week. You’re going to pick your favourite moment of History and teach something new to your class teacher. You can present the lesson however you would like; in a Powerpoint presentation, as a poster, as a booklet, you could even act it out and have an adult record you!

Here are some interesting history topics in case you need some ideas:

  • The Great Fire of London

  • The Age of the Dinosaurs

  • Ancient Egyptians

  • The World Wars

  • Life in Roman times

  • Victorian inventions

  • The Gunpowder Plot

  • Clothing in the Georgian Era

  • How the Titanic sank

  • How castles were made

  • Why the Great Wall of China was built

  • How America began

  • How Australia began

Have fun! We can’t wait to hear what you’re going to teach us about!
