Important Information

Please find below important information for Beech Class children:

  • Reception's allocated drop-off time runs from 9:15am to 9:30am. In order to maintain a safe and smooth morning drop-off, it is important that all parents stick to these times and do not arrive onto the premises early unless absolutely necessary (for example, dropping off a sibling in a different year group).
  • Ash Class will be dismissed through the main door that leads onto the front playground classroom from 3:15pm.
  • All items of clothing must be clearly labelled with your child's name. It is advisable to write on the labels in permanent ink, as stick-on labels can have a tendancy to fall off.
  • Beech Class have P.E. every Friday afternoon. Please make sure your child comes to school in their outdoor P.E. kits. Comfortable trainers should be worn instead of pumps as the children will remain in their kit all day.
  • Beech class attend Forest School on alternate Tuesdays. On these days, please ensure your child arrives at school in clothes which are suitable to get muddy/wet and a pair of wellies. In a plastic bag, the children should bring a pair of trainers which they can then spend the rest of the day in once they have finished in Forest School.
  • A free, healthy snack (fruit or vegetable) is provided for all children at the infant school every day.
  • For the rest of this half term, Beech Class will be partaking in a Multi-Skills PE session led by a coach from South Ribble Sports Partnership. Children should come to school on this day in their outdoor P.E kits as outlined above.
  • Please make sure to send a full water bottle into school every day. The bottle they bring should only contain water (or flavoured cold water tea bags) and not juice or fizzy drinks.

Please check back periodically as the above information is subject to change.
