Important Information

Important Information

Ash Class 2020/21

Please find below important information for Ash Class children:

  • Reception's allocated drop-off time runs from 9:05am to 9:10am. In order to maintain a safe and smooth morning drop-off, it is important that all parents stick to these times and do not arrive onto the premises early unless absolutely necessary (for example, dropping off a sibling in a different year group).
  • Ash Class will be dismissed through their classroom door onto the EYFS playground from 3:05pm.
  • All items of clothing must be clearly labelled with your child's name.
  • Ash Class have P.E. every Thursday afternoon. Please make sure your child comes to school in their outdoor P.E. kits. Comfortable trainers should be worn instead of pumps as the children will remain in their kit all day.
  • A free, healthy snack (fruit or vegetable) is provided for all children at the infant school every day.
  • Please make sure to send a full water bottle into school every day. The bottle they bring should only contain water (or flavoured cold water tea bags) and not juice or fizzy drinks.
  • Every other Tuesday, Ash Class will spend the morning at our forest school. Please check ClassDojo regularly for more information.

Please check back periodically as the above information is subject to change.

04/10/20 - What a whirlwind month it has been! Ash Class have come so far since school started five weeks ago. They have all settled wonderfully into the daily routine, and have been trying their best during our literacy and numeracy sessions, as well as their independent learning. Now that the children are familiar with all of Reception's rules and expectations, we will be kicking things up a notch! We have already started learning our phase 2 phonics - the first steps towards reading! With our newly introduced homework page, the children will be making fantastic progress in no time at all! Congratulations to our early "Above and Beyond" and "Christian Value" award winners. It's hard to choose just three each week when every single member of Ash Class deserves recognition for their fantastic start to big school! heart
17/09/20 - We are all very excited to welcome a brand new group of children to "big school." It has been a long time coming! This is my second year teaching Reception. I loved it so much the first time around, I had to do it again! On this web page, you will find a variety of important information, newsletters, homework, curriculum documents, home learning expectations, etc. Please have a look through the following pages and familiarise yourself with what is available. If you have any questions, please send me a private message via Seesaw or use the contact form below.
