As World Mental Health Day is approaching we have been looking at different feelings. We have made clouds of hope which show the things that we love and might hope for if we are feeling down. We have spoken about how we should always be kind to each other and to ourselves. There was some great discussion about how we can keep our mind and body healthy.
This week we have had the Sports Coaches in. We have been developing our tennis skills. It was great fun!
We have been focusing on controlling the lines and marks that we make, as well as experimenting with new ways to do this. As part of our learning we went outside to draw the world around us. We focused on physical features such as trees and leaves.
We have had a great time learning about Harvest this week: we looked at different foods and how they are grown; we watched Reverend Gill's Harvest Worship; and we spoke about all of the things that we are grateful for.
We have been looking at seasonal changes over the past few weeks. One afternoon we made some lovely pictures that represent each season. On Friday we made shadow puppets to understand how light and dark work.
