Aspen Class

Welcome to Summer 2 in Year 3!

We have lots of exciting things to do in our final half term and we cannot wait to continue our learning journey.

.

In English we are going to be exploring Folk Tales and writing our own fictional stories.  We will also be writing diary entries following on from our work on the book 'The Diary of a Killer Cat'.  In Maths, we will be practicing and developing our knowledge of place value, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, statistics and money.  In Science, we will be developing our skills of Scientific enquiry and in Geography we will be exploring regions of the UK and their physical features. We are really looking forward to our outdoor and adventurous trip to the Anderton Centre and Sports Day!

Important information:

PE  is on Wednesdays and Fridays  (Please can children wear their full PE kit to school - Fridays will be outdoors);

Homework will be given out on the first day back, it will consist of three booklets (English, Maths and topic) which all have a task to complete for each week. The booklets will be handed back to school on the last day of half term.

Spelling words will be given out with the homework booklets and tests will be each Monday.

On Monday afternoons Aspen Class will be taught  by Mrs Tetley.

If you have any questions, please contact me via Dojo or email.
