Little Wandle Phonics and Early Reading Scheme in EYFS and KS1
At Leyland Methodist Schools, we start our children's reading journey by teaching the children phonics. We use the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised Scheme. This is a DfE approved scheme. For more information, you can visit the curriculum section by selecting Curriculum from the Key Info drop down tab, then select Curriculum Branches and finally click on Communication, Language and Literature for our Phonics and Early Reading Policy.
