Welcome to Summer 1!
We have an exciting new term ahead of us, let's see what wonderful learning opportunities are in store for your children.
This half term we will be geographers, comparing where we live in Leyland, England with the Maasai Mara in Kenya, Africa. You will find more information about this topic on the Geography Knowledge Mat. In DT this term, we will be tasting and making our own Dips and Dippers! In Science, we will be studying resistant and everyday materials in chemistry and researching all about our resident scientist John McAdam. Again, more information can be found on the Science Knowledge Mat.
PE days this term will be:
Tuesday (Outdoor) and Friday (Indoor)
*Please make sure that your child comes to school wearing their PE kit on their designated PE days and can we please ask that no jewellery is worn.*
